Crewe Station and 40145
is still parked on the old depot yard. Not a good day for photographing
at Crewe with the intense Sun high in the Southern sky 08/08/2008
Also parked up was a
once familiar site on the coast, 47835 "Rail EXPRESS".

There were various
track animals knocking about and this was just one of them 999800

20310 "Gresty
Bridge", 20311 "Class 20 "Fifty""
and 37059 appeared and entered bay platform 8. 08/08/2008
They later left
with 059 producing that familiar, but rapidly disappearing, class
37 growl. 08/08/2008
Another string of locomotives
appeared with 86610 leading 90045 and 86638. They too ran into
the bay before reversing to enter the LNWR depot. 08/08/2008
Later, both class 86's
repeated the exercise before heading off to Basford Sidings.
