Conwy again, you simply cannot
get too much of this! 29/07/2012
"William" was bringing
up the rear. 29/07/2012
The train reversed again
at the Junction and 47798 led through Dganwy to Llandudno. 29/07/2012
Strange to see an A4 being
dragged backwards. 29/07/2012
Once again there was a rapid
reversal and this time the A4 led round the curve by the former
Deganwy Castle Hotel, currently being converted into apartments.

Again a pause at Llandudno
Junction allowed me to have a second go and this time it was
down at Llanddulas beach. The low Sun was catching the train
as it sped along the coast towards the viaduct. 29/07/2012
Llanddulas viaduct. 29/07/2012
The crew spent much of their
time waving to the crowds - great stuff you guys. (note
the Buzzard flying high above the engine) 29/07/2012
.....and finally. 29/07/2012
The last day of July (where
did Summer go?) and another "Welsh Mountaineer" hits
the coast. This time it's the return of 48151, running tender
first as it passes through Llanddulas. 31/07/2012
The locomotive runs tender
first to allow access to the Blaenau Ffestiniog branch without
having to run to Valley to turn. 31/07/2012
After a short pause at the
Junction the train heads down the valley to Blaenau. Seen here
crossing the road at Ffordd Maelgwyn crossing. What a year for
steam in North Wales. 31/07/2012
