 A 37 at last! 37114 "City of Worcester" entering Crewe Diesel Depot to refuel. 30/8/2002

 The 10.07 Birmingham-Holyhead entering Crewe behind 47758 with 86259 parked at the side. 30/8/2002

 90023 with 47798 "Prince William" behind and Royal Mail unit 325001 in tow. 30/8/2002

 175011 approaching Penmaenhead tunnel after leaving Colwyn Bay. 23/8/2002

 47818 "Strathclyde" approaching Colwyn Bay with the 08.35 London-Holyhead. 23/8/2002

 An unidentified HST set forms the 07.20 London-Holyhead as it passes over the A55 at Colwyn Bay. 24/8/2002

 What appears to be 43184 leading 43xxx Eastbound at Prestatyn with the 16.12 Holyhead-London. 25/8/2002

 An unidentified class 47 hauling the 9.19 Holyhead-London passing Llanddulas in the morning mist. 26/8/2002

 The 10.45 for Holyhead was diverted into platform 12 and 47810 "Porterbrook" was parked on the headshunt adjacent to the West Coast Mail Line - what was going on? Normally an HST run, today's 08.44 from London Euston was loco hauled behind 87004 "Britannia" seen here running off the train. 21/8/2002

 Sure enough 810 reversed onto the train and gave a rousing display as it headed for Chester and North Wales. 21/8/2002

 Lots of Freightliner Class 86 locomotives about today, this string comprises 66532 (leading) with 86614 and 86632 in tow. 21/8/2002

 Another 47 hauled train (who said they were finished?) in the form of the 10.07 Birmingham-Holyhead. 47784 "Condover Hall" leaves after having been diverted into platform 6 from its usual spot in 12. 21/8/2002

 More Freightliner 86 electrics with 86638 towing 86615 and 86632 en route South. 21/8/2002

 Yet another 47 hauled train as 47839 "Pride of Saltley" brings the 9.19 Holyhead-London into platform 11 where it handed over to 90002 "Mission Impossible". 21/8/2002

 And finally.......just for good measure a class 37, number 37886, on the Sandbach-Arpley acid train. 21/8/2002

 Crewe was quite dead this P.M. with no coastal traffic unless you like buses. 47292, fresh from it's charter run last weekend, was in tow behind 47279. The pair went to the LNWR sheds. 13/8/2002

 Crewe Diesel Depot was full of RES 47's, these two are 47635 and 47772. 13/8/2002

 47780 leaving Crewe with the 10.07 Birmingham-Holyhead. 8/8/2002

 47805 "Pride of Toton" arriving at Crewe with the 9.19 Holyhead-London. 8/8/2002

 Gliding past the Crewe North signal box as visitors to the Heritage Centre gaze admiringly! 8/8/2002
