The first of the CVR's Winter Warmers as 4277 performs its run-round at Froghall before taking on water and then heading out for the climb up to Ipstones. Too cold to photograph anything else!

45212 entering Crewe station on its way to Castleton from Southall.
The engine had stopped off for water.
As is now becoming an annual event at this time of year, the locomotive was suitably decorated.
"Thunderbird" was on standby as, well, thunderbird.
