Churnet Valley Railway shareholders' special in the form of GWR Steam Rail Motor number 93.
The unit had left Froghall and travelled down the valley to Oakamoor, a stretch of line not normally in use on the CVR. The unit is shown here at Consall on the Oakamoor-Leekbrook run while waiting for a DMU to enter the crossing loop while heading South on a Driving Experience run.
The interior finish and attention to detail deserve credit to all involved with the restoration.
No 93, having returned from Leekbrook, was being prepared for its second trip to Oakamoor.
The motor.
Departing for Oakamoor.
Shortly after No,93 left, the DMU appeared.
Classic scene (apart from "Southport").
