Holiday time and
a trip to The Llangollen Railway where 6430 is on duty. 16/07/2008
Having watched the intended
train leave Carrog I had to drive on to Llangollen where there
was time for lunch at The Corn Mill, complete with its rotating
water wheel. 16/07/2008
From the timber
walkways surrounding the pub there is a good view of the station
across the beautiful River Dee. 16/07/2008
After a handsome meal
it was time to board the train which was waiting to leave. 16/07/2008
En route, The Chainbridge
Hotel makes a fine site on the river side. 16/07/2008
Having completed the
return journey I drove back to Carrog to watch the arrival of
the last train of the day. 16/07/2008
