Balanced on front bogie and rear
drivers.

Putting on a dignified face.

More classic lines.

The engine is steeped in history,
the rear wheel on the bogie shows "LMS" cast into the
rim together with 1934. The lower shot is of the rear driver journal
showing "1930" stamped on the shaft end. The original
locomotive was built circa 1927 by North British Locomotive Company
in Glasgow so clearly there was some swapping carried out over
the years.

Contrasting subjects for restoration.
