37203 came off the Diesel Depot and then ran North up the West Coast Main Line.

56091 "Stanton" was sat quietly in the Diesel depot yard until somebody started the engine whereupon a fall of soot descended on Crewe. 20/3/2002

 

 

A London - Liverpool service had been terminated in Platform 12 when I arrived at Crewe. The locomotive, 87008 "City of Liverpool", removed a coach and then reconnected with the train which is seen here leaving Southbound. 20/3/2002

 47289 had been sat near to the LNWR carriage sheds for a while, it then pulled out to head North through Crewe station with two elderly looking vehicles. 14/3/2002

 

 

 

As the train entered the centre road the driver opened up and the 47 took off. 14/3/2002

 

 

 

37798 paused by platform 6 and then took off South. It later appeared on the CD pumps. 14/3/2002

 

 

 

66605 ran through the station heading South. 14/3/2002

 

 

 

57006 appeared on the platform 12 loop heading South. 14/3/2002

 

 

 

92039 was in charge of the morning freight that runs off towards Manchester. 92008 was trailing DIT. 14/3/2002

 

 

 

153327 had arrived from Shrewsbury and was due out with the 10.28 return service. The train did not respond to the green and was later being attended to by a fitter. 14/3/2002
